Step 1: How do I register to post in a blog?

On the front page of the blog you are viewing look for the menu item called "User Login".



To register to use a blog click "Register" and you see this screen:



Fill in this necessary informaton. Be sure to select a username that is easy for you to remember. Be sure to put an active email address because your temporary password will be emailed to you. Then click the "Register" button.



Now check your email for a message from Wordpress which contains your username and temporary password. Also this email contains a link to login in for the first time into the blog you are registering to use. In the future to login in to the blog, locate the "User Login" area and click on "Login".



After you clicked on the link contained in the email you received with your temporary password, login using the information contained in your email. BE SURE to type the information in EXACTLY how it appears in your email.

After you login you will see the following screen:



We suggest that before you start posting you update your profile changing your temporary password with a password you will easily remember. After you type in your information click "Update Profile".

You are now a registered user for that specific blog and can start posting. ALL our blogs ARE MODERATED to prevent spamming. Your information WILL NOT appear until a moderator reviews the information and approves it.


2. How do I post articles or comments?

To post information after you successfully logged in, click on the "Write" button. You will then see the following screen.



Type in the your title in the appropriate box. Then in the area called "Post" type in your information. Once you are finished click on "Submit for Review" button. Your information will then be sent to the blog moderator for review and posting. To the right of the "Post" area you will see a list of categories currently established by the blog you are posting in. Put a check mark by the category that best describes the information you are posting. If there is not an appropriate category to choose just submit your information and the blog moderator will establish the proper category when reviewing your information.

If you read a post that you would like to make a comment, click on the "Comment" link at the end of the article and type in your reply. Once completed click on the "submit comment" button. Your comment will be sent to the blog moderator to review and post.
